Overnight flight direct to Marrakech.
Upon your arrival at Marrakesh airport, you will find your host waiting for you to welcome you and then transfer you to your hotel. The morning will be at ease to acclimate and recover from the flight.
Morning departure to start your hiking tour towards Imioughlad (5800ft) on the Ait Misana Valley via Asni, a Berber village, and the weekly market every Saturday. Meet the mule crew caravan that will welcome you with a typical Berber tea ceremony. Load the mules and take off to cross the Tacht pass (7100ft) through the juniper forest's unique vistas in the Atlas Mountains. Lunch will be at Tiziane Springs. Continue exploring the trails of the Toubkal for the afternoon to reach a Berber house where you will be the honorary guest.
Our trek will start after breakfast, rejoining the Azaden Valley, ending at the pass of the Tougdalt at 8200ft. Lunch in the open air of the Thuya forest (filled with exotic juniper and cypress trees) which borders a stream. Your trekking day will finish at Tizi Oussem for camping overnight.
Our trail will take us across the pass of Mezzik at (9000ft) and descend towards Imlil-Aren, then to the Marabout of Sidi Chamharouch at (9550ft), where we will enjoy a night camping in tents.
In the early morning, rise to the Toubkal summit. We will reach the summit, where we will break for lunch. Visit the Lake of Ifni in the afternoon, then return to camp.
After breakfast, we will take off descending from the Toubkal Peaks to camp at Imioughlad in a Berber home to enjoy a typical Berber festive dinner.
Ride to get back to Imlil, where we will leave the mules, say goodbye to our mountain guide and trekking crew, then head back to Marrakesh. Marrakesh city tour with a local professional guide featuring significant monuments and museums. An afternoon devoted to the exotic souks and workshops within the old section of Marrakesh and the exciting Jamaa El Fna Square. A festive dinner in a typical Moroccan restaurant with traditional local entertainment will be reserved for our small adventure group. Overnight in hotel.
